Oh well. I guess this fictitious thing’s the closest I can get. Which is kinda sad and confusing because it’s not really that “close” and it really isn’t “real”. That’s life for me.
Everyone here at home is moving fast now. All of us are already preparing for our 6AM trip to Norzagaray, Bulacan (except for someone who happens to be blogging). Me, together with some of our church’s youth will be going on a Youth Camp today, hence, will be far from The Internet for 3 days. That’s actually amazing, imagine a bunch of young people trying to survive without an internet connection.
So yeah, I’ll be out for 3 days. If you have anything to say or ask (I dunno, maybe you’ll miss some of my ramblings on your dashboard, who knows), by all means, my Tumblr Ask is open to all.
Have a great day, everyone. :)
So I found this old hard drive of ours and I don’t know what made me connect it to the computer. I just did.
I looked at my old files and I was a bit surprised both in a good and a bad way. There I found old photos, downloaded movies, written works, some school stuff, my complete music collection (YAY). But there’s a folder which made me giddy like a kid after seeing it It was named “Audio Recordings”.
My friends and I used to record a lot and it’s not just because we’re in a band, we just want to record everything. I mean, we even recorded a nonsense conversation mostly about how dirty our school’s comfort rooms are and how our then lead guitarist dated a girl who looks more manly than the four of us. It’s a 3-hour audio file. Crazy.
There was this one recording during my 16th birthday, I think. We were just talking about how our last year went (my birthday is like our official date to assess our lives as teenagers). The conversations were far from being deep and matured and sometimes mixed with some singing and stuff. But listening to it now, I realized that even at a very young age, we already have our own principles and opinions about the stuff happening around us. Those opinions might be shallow and/or immature, but it’s real and it’s our own; some of it we still hold on to, some of it we already forgot. But that’s not the point. The point is that we tried our best not to allow anyone to cloud our minds with their principles and opinions.
Good thing, young Josh, your passion for reading and playing the guitar never died.
Hey look, it’s me and my adorable cousins, Strength and Nicole! :D

This day is a very long day for me, and I love it. It’s about to end in a couple of hours so before I finally surrender to sleep, let me just share to you some stuff about this day, as if it matters to you people~
